Politics

So, with the coming election and all this stuff about politics, i've realized just how much I really hate politics. Everyone's fighting about everything. There are things that the media is just ignoring. The hard part is I go to school and I hear one thing, and I go home and I hear something else. My parents are so fervant that McCain is the right person and that Obama is Osama Binladen. Supposedly there is a lot of information about him that the public is not being told and the only way that things can be found out is through listening to conservative radio shows. Obama has terrorist connects supposedly and blackmails people. My parents are throughly convinced that if Obama wins the election, Christianity will be banned from America. Then they say, well maybe not necessarily Christianity, but no one will be able to say anything about Gay Rights. They think that he's the anti-Christ. So yea, and then at school, everyone thinks everything. I will be so glad once the election is over! Besides, the Bible does say after all that God is the one in charge of the hearts of kings. He can change things since it's His universe after all. And even if everything bad that my parents say that could happen does, maybe it'd would be a good thing. I know that sounds horrible, but America is straying from God. Our country needs to WAKE UP!!!!!! Maybe if things got desperately bad, worse even than 9/11 we'd be able to have the revival that all good Christians want. I mean think about it, after 9/11 the country started praying again...but that was only for a short time. Oh America, how quick you are to forget your God! Maybe if we were shaken up a little bit we'd be able to come back to God, like we were originally.

So with my parents believeing that we will be the next communist country and will have friends with terrorists if Obama becomes president, and other people I know thinking that all they want is change (which they'll get change all right with Obama, but what change do they want?), I end this note.
